WOW!!! again

So its been over a year since the last post and Ive beeen through a lot...a whole
lot. To keep it positive though, after all the internships, I finally landed my first job!!! Although, I intially got hired as a compositor...but there's no shame in that game. Unfortuantely, the gig is wrapping up but I got to meet a lot of great people and make friends. It was an awesome starting point for me. I got a lot of experience out of it and got to get my first animation to come out on the tele.
The search is on again!!! And I am finally getting a step toward my ultimate goal of character animtor on a feature.

WOW!!!

Good grief. Its been awhile...a long while. So unfortunately I had to discontinue going to AM because I was dealing with a lot at the time. The plan was to wait until Decemnber when I finished and then start job hunting... BUT!!! Didnt work out that way for muah. I had to get on it and start looking now. And after over 40 reels sent out (which is actually a small amount) nothing. I did land this internship a few weeks ago. Its 2d mostly though but it does give me an opportunity to learn after effects and meet some really cool people. Everyone there is great. Ill just keep learning and hope to land that dream job soon. I do miss AM though maybe later I can go back and touch up.

AAAAAGh!!! I wanted to post my last weeks of work at AM but I got a virus on my PC. I had been telling myself to back it up...hehe "back it up" Anywho, thats what laziness does to you. Ill get it fixed when I have some more cash. Well, gotta go hope to put up some more posts.

Term 3 - Week 12 Progress Reel!!!

So here it is my new progress reel!!! I might put a newer one later with a rendered version of my lipsync but I might just render it in a few weeks because next week I finally get facial controls. So Ill be working on that for the next few weeks. This again has been a great term. Thank you Dana for your critiques and extra time in the QnA's. Ill check everyone out next term.

Term 3 - Week 11

So here we are all done. I havent got my last critque on it yet but I did adjust the last things my mentor felt need a little tweaking. Hopefully, that should be it unless she finds something this last time around. So I didnt have much to do this week. It gave me a chance to play with the rendering. Im not sure if Im happy with what I came up with. If Im happy with it, Ill put it in my progress reel.

Ok so Im pretty much done by this point. Just have to correct some minor things.

Term 3 - Week 9

Yikes!!! This was a super tiring week for me I was so shot full of energy drinks that I was running circles around my hyper son. Lol thats kind of a ironic statement. Anyways, this week I put in a lot of time so that I could make up for lost time during the previous week. I was able to get a lot done but still had some things that I wish I of could worked on some more.

The hand pose for this week is relaxed.

Term 3 - Week 8

UUUUUUgh!!! This week sucked mostly because my little guy was sick. I hate it so much when he gets sick. He's still a baby, well to me at least (2 yrs old), and when ever he gets sick I feel terrible because I can tell he suffers through it. Fortunately, during the day he was playing around and having fun but at night my poor little guy couldnt sleep because his stuffed up little nose kept him up. One night he even got a fever and I had to take him to the ER. Fortunately again, it went down when we got there and he was smiling on the way home. If you ever see this I love you fatboy!!! Well, since I only really have a chance to work on my animation in the middle of the night when everyone is sleeping my son being sicking this week was my main concern and I barely got anythinng else done. I was hoping to go into spline but instead stayed in blocking and just worked out some things that needed tweaking. I was lucky my mentor only had 2 minor things that she felt needed tweaking. Some more up and in the hips when he shifts his weight and she wanted me to give it a different ending. At the end of the clip it says "then her sister walks in" and Dana (mentor) wanted me to give some sort of reaction to it. I didnt get to that this week though. Well, here it is.
